Default Clutch issues

hi,
started my 98 r this am and noticed my clutch sticky...what i mean is it felt different when i stepped on the clutch not much resistance as normal. it was difficult when i put it in reverse and then into first. once i started driving it felt better in each gear but clutch still feels different.

has any one had this issue. what may be the problem??

check for leaks at the master and slave cylinders. Thats more than likely the case...

would a bad master and slave cause a squeaking noise when you push the clutch in, loud enough to hear outside of the car? i noticed it this morning

Mine squeaks on both my tegs and the master cylinders were both replaced. It could just be a lack of grease on the shaft that goes into the master cylinder.

Best bet to tell if it's failing is to look and see if there is fluid seeping out near the shaft. Usually it's the seal that fails and fluid starts passing by the piston.
