help, i can't decide.

if i have enough money to do only ONE of these, what do you guys think i should do first,i can't decide?

replace timing belt/water pump.

take car to dealer and have my cars problems finally figured out(throwing codes 22,41,16,running rich/slow)been trying to figure out code 22 for about 5 months.

get a nice pioneer amp and alpine sub/box for $250 total(christmas special on base-ends on the 22nd)normally $550.

get passenger side rear quater panel replaced-$1000(long story,sum1 ran into me and the whole panel looks so unbelivably horrible right now, allready had frame pulled back.

i have a 95 2door gsr with 86,000 miles.

get the side rear panel fix

I would fix the things that are wrong with the car before getting a stereo system. If you need a timing belt and water pump do that before the timing belt breaks and yoy screw up your engine.

i would say timing belt and water pump first. then fix the quarter panel. and lastly, get the stereo.

Do the timing belt/water pump first, if you leave those and your timing belt snaps then your not gonna be a happy soldier.

timing, codes, panel, stereo..

so true. Maybe he would rather have a good stereo that he can listen to when his car is sitting in his driveway undrivable because his engine was screwed up when his timing belt broke

Maintenance comes first.

Do the timing belt and water pump, that can cause you much more trouble later on down the line.

Priorities after that should be to fix the codes and then the body work.

BonzoAPD Dec 16, 2002 10:22 AM

those codes may be fixed when the timing belt and water pump are replaced.

LT Dec 16, 2002 12:07 PM

for those who don't know the codes:

22 - VTEC Oil Pressure Switch
41 - H025 Heater
16 - Fuel Injector
