Default Guage cluster light.

The guage cluster bulb burnt out in my G2 teg. Does anyone know how to replace the bulb and can I just pick up a bulb from any auto shop?

you will have to take the gauge cluster out. unhook the 3-4 harnesses in the back. unplug the bulb, and replace bulb.

my g3 teg takes 192 or 194 bulbs...i think thats the number.

If you are replacing one of the two that shine down on the guages from the top then I would get the bulb from the dealer even though it costs a lot more ($2 for two at the parts store or like $5 for one at the dealer) because the aftermarket ones do not fit perfectly and one of mine goes on and off occasionally because of this.

It's possible that it's my fault and I didn't put it in correctly but I remember that they weren't the exact same size. You can't go wrong getting the right bulb from the dealer though, especially for the huge pain it is to take out the guage cluster.

ok im confused i just took out my guage cluster, too see if i could replace some bulbs to make my culster light up blue at night instead of the stock dull greenish color. (figured i would just replace some bulbs with blue ones). now i am REALLY confused the stock bulbs already have a little blue rubber thing over them,so it should already light up blue but its the normal dull greenish color. um...im confused what do i do to make it light up blue?
