Any good So. Cali Acura's?

I have a bouncy idle and some stuff i need to be checked...
I have a 01 integra wit 18500 miles..
aem cai, lowered, and an exhaust that acura installed for me...
Acura of Riverside told me they can't do anything because I have mods done, is this true?
Are Acura's supposed to charge to just inspect the vehicle for errors? cuz they told me they'll charge 75 dollars just to check it out...

Not true.
They have to proove that the mods themselves caused the failure to whatever is causing your idle to flucuate eradically.

Exhaust will not do that.
Lowering has nothing to do with it either.
The intake wouldn't either -- although they could point at that.

Agian, you dont have to have proof that your mods DIDNT cause the damage, THEY have to show YOU proof that your mods DID cause the damage.

So, take it to them and tell them to fix it or show you proof that your modifications are what's causing the problem.
If you have to front them money -- that's fine. You will be reimbursed so long as they can't proove your mods caused the problem.

Which, they didn't.

Put your stock intake back on and then take it to them. If you put an aftermarket intake on any car with a warranty it will void the warranty. Exhaust won't or like springs unless you break something in your suspension (obviously).
