Clutch pedal height adjustment
Has anyone adjusted the height (from floor to pedal) of their clutch pedal? I've got my Haynes manual, but its not very descriptive (visually speaking). Do I do this up under the dash where the pedal pivots are? Or is it under the engine bay? Anyone know?
The adjustment is made under the dash... but why does it need adjustment?? This is not something that requires regular adjustment and should remain in the same position. If adjusted improperly, you run the risk of either never fully engaging the clutch when the pedal is released, or never fully diengaging the clutch when the pedal is pushed. Either way will SIGNIFICANTLY shorten the life of your clutch...
Best idea is to just leave it alone

Well the problem was/is with the clutch/tranny itself. I've been to the dealer probably 20 times (they've already replaced the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel once due to defect) under warranty, and its still giving me problems. The Haynes manual says the pedal should be 6.5in from the floor, but its about 5.75in on mine. I don't know if this is a significant amount. My pedal also has A LOT of play in it (atleast a full inch).
