Default How Much would....

I am looking to buying a GSR with about 85,000 on it. Not sure what year to get. But it will be a 94 +. I am also looking to get a turbo kit. What are some good kits, prices, places to get the kit. Also I am not sure about how much boost to run. I do not plan on riping the motor apart (maybe just putting some new injeters in) So how much do you guys think for a motor with 85,000 on it, maybe 6 psi ?. Any info would help. Any sites with the turbo install would help. Well thanks for the help!

are you looking to just buy the engine and do a swap with your existing car? or buy a gsr?

just the gsr longblock will cost about $3-3500? someone correct me if im wrong. a turbo kit will cost about $3-3500 also. i think a stock engine can take about 8psi if it was running in good condition.

but someone else can give you more of a detailed insight.

www.importparts.com sells Drag kits at a pretty good price and will match any competitors price.

www.ks-motorsports.com has an AWESOME build your own turbo kit.

Drag kits are a good basic kit that includes pretty much everything youll need to run 6PSI. They go for around $2900, give or take.

Its hard to answer such a general question. Do a compression/leakdown test on your GSR first, and if everything checks out OK, go ahead with the turbo kit. You're ok with stock injectors @ 6PSI, but if you want to increase the boost, or even if you dont (I would do this anyway) you should look into a Hondata. www.hondata.com can answer all of your questions concerning that.

In terms of the turbo kit...try this site:
