Exactly.

The IM received a complete, extensive port job of the plenum and runners all the way through. Dan at DPR has been extracting max HP and flow out of these for many years now.

You're not the first or the last to doubt me and my setup, and thats cool, but I cant say too much until the dyno results are displayed.

1)-Did you leave the secondary venturis in or out? Why?
2)-If you haven't done it already, buck the extra coin and get the S300. Easier to re burp if you decide later on that you want to play with the bottle.
Other than that, looks like you have the bull by the horns!

I did leave the secondaries plate in there because this manifold would suffer torque loss from low to mid RPM
due to the length and volume of the runners without the middle plate.

It would be better to get and aftermarket IM and tune, than to just remove the IABs.
However, every single butterfly hole has been ported for increase airflow.

I haven't actually purchased any tuning system yet, but long-term reliability and price is a priority,
which means that I would never consider squeezing for this project.

Edit...Found a picture of what my IM & IAB plate looks like now:

I was just curious. Got a lot of dudes where I'm from that remove them and install nitrous spray plates in the secondaries. I can't convince them that the whole top end of these LS/VTEC's would be smoother with them in. Instead they compensate the lack of vacuum at low RPM with a little spray-seems to work, kinda rough on CV shafts. The nice thing about the S300 is that you don't have to have a prom burner to do updates(the S200 I played with did and it SUCKED).

Often times, there is more than one way to the upgrade the same part and achieve the same result. As long as you research first and learn, you can then choose what work best for your setup. My own friends question my setup because its too "OEM".

For me, performance takes a backseat to reliability.

Ah, ok. I didn't know you were going to work in internals of the stock IM. I was going to do the same thing, but it would just be easier to use an aftermarket single stage intake with my future setup. But I will agree, the stock IM is GREAT after it's ported.

Smart man, same reason why my DD isn't turbo charged.
