Please Help! '92 Integra won't start.

Our 92 Integra was running fine and then all of a sudden died while driving and won't start. I am not getting any spark... I just changed the igniter (ignition module) and the problem is still there. I checked the coil according to the Haynes manual and things seemed ok, but now I am at a loss. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

hows the cap and rotor? are they burnt out? did you replace your spark plugs too? are your ground wires loose?

cap, rotor, plugs, fuel filter, and pcv valve were all replaced this morning. car died after about 5 minutes into my test drive. to make sure i didn't install a faulty part, i even put all of the old parts back in to see if it made a difference. after making sure it wasn't that, put the new parts back in.

That same thing happened to me about 4 months ago......it seems that this problem is not unheard among G2 owners......When it happened to me, I first got a new cap and rotor, and coil, and the car started again for 5 minutes, and then died again..I ended up having to get a remanufactured distributor module, for it to run. Advice: take your cap off...if the coil is burned off, chances are you will need to replace the entire module.

You purchased an ENTIRE distributer? It was either your coil or ignitor. IF your tach moves when u try to start it, then its your coil. Otherwise its your ignitor. I'm assumingyour car died instantly and didnt sputter or anything. WHen it died, did the rpm's instantly fall to zero even tho you know the engine was moving?
