A co worker was telling me about some springs called drop zone.
Is anyone familiar with them. He said they're just as good as eibach & h&r
but cheaper. It'll be for a 98 Gsr.

 

I have heard of them, but haven't heard any reviews about them. Cheaper isn't always better.

 

Drop Zone is an inferior brand; I'm surprised they're still in business.
Their coilover sleeves are known for corrosion between the sleeve and the spring perch.

Ground Control sleeves and Koni Yellows would be a far wiser choice IMO.

 

The coilovers are not good whatsoever. My neighbor had them in his Civic and the sleeve cracked where it made contact with the strut (I think I have pictures). Rather unsafe if you ask me.

I wouldn't use anything named Dropzone it it were given to me free.

 

DropZone is crap with a capital "C." My buddy and I put them shits on his Civic and the 1st time we tried to adjust it the freakin thread stripped. After a closer look there was an actual hairline crack running right through. It freakin sucked. We had to uninstall the rest and put his stock set up back on. He got his money back, but fuck...what a stinking hassle.

 

Dont be scared to cut ur springs. I wouldn't have done it but all of the other integra's missing two inches bounce. Mine is pretty smooth. It doesn't see-saw or anything. Just dont slam it!!! Ull bounce off the road! All of those aftermarket springs r harder to keep u from bottoming out so just watch the road. 2 inches with stock ride? I love it!! Dont forget a camber kit and an alignment.

Camber kit isn't needed...

 

He's right!!! U could miss the spring and cut urself!!! Pay the money for a harsh ride and skip the camber kit so ur car turns everytime u drive over an uneven surface!!

 

Cutting springs is a bad idea. Step up and buy a decent set of coilovers or springs.

 

1) If this is your brand of humor, it isn't funny and this isn't the place for it.

2) The danger in cutting stock springs lies in the fact that at nearly full extension, the spring can come out of the top seat. I have personally seen it happen on a Jetta and the result was a horror show.
