Default b-series on engine stand

Hey guys, im trying to get my engine build started and i can not seem to find any bolts with the right thread/pitch about 6 inchs long to use for my engine stand. any one ever run into this problem and where did you find them?

I got mine at Lowe's. They aren't a bizarre thread pitch or size, so you should be able to find them easily.

they are fine thread if im not mistaken and , two local hardwarestores, napa, and home depot laughed at me

You are looking in the wrong section. These are metric bolts, not standard bolts. If I remember correctly, they are M10x1.25.

You are correct, no one could seem to help/have them, so i bought some to fit into the blank holes around the housing. worked wonderfuly, they wont be on long anyways block of off to machine shop as soon as the rest of my bearings and rods come in. then we play the waiting game.....h:

your going to have to use you tranny bolts or find someone with four tranny bolts, that is what i'm using as we speak!

If it is just a block, chances are it didn't come with the bell housing bolts. Regardless, those bolts aren't long enough for most engine stands anyway. They definitely aren't long enough for the OP's stand.
