Getting 250 miles per tank..... 24 mpg
My 1990 Integra RS Non-Vtec seems to be a little fuel hungry lately. Ive been doing some reading on this issue and it looks like its a somewhat common problem. Has anyone actually been able to narrow it down so I don't end up having to replace the entire fuel/emissions system? Ive replaced the plugs but i really don't care for 30 replies to change my Air-Filter, and MY OIL?! :eekno:
I'm going to start with the PCV valve. Any other bright ideas?

Are those 250 miles city or highway miles?
When I used to do highway only, i would get about 315-335 in my 2000 LS, that was in everyday LA traffic. That drastically changed now that I only do city driving, 220 miles now.
Your style of driving has a lot to do with it.

Apathy Kills
And don't rely on the dash gauge alone.
Divide the number of miles driven by the number of gallons used.
My 5-year average with the DC4 is about 27.2 mpg with about 60% of that being highway driving.

I live out in the sticks with a 20min commute to work so.... its highway. I would be more understanding if that was around town. And my driving style isnt all speed racer. Im actually trying to baby the clutch in it right now untill I purchase another vehical and have time to take this one off the road and redoo the clutch.

Make sure your the engine temp is not running hot. Heat eats up the power from your engine. The factory miles are tested w/ all the accessories being off. There are several factors that would get you less miles/gallon of gas. Timing is a big one. If the timing is off, the car will idle rough and don't drive as smooth as it supposed too. Are you a tidy person? All that extra junk adds to the weight of the car. Including you. How much do you weigh. I weigh 118 pounds same as my 19 year old daughter. My wife weigh over 200 pounds and she gets less miles in any of the three cars we owned. Start eating greens and you will see how much you save on the pump.
