Can't help you with ur clicking noise, but I am selling my 1997 GSR (not silver, unless I am mistaken there were no silver GSR's until 00 or 01). I live in Eagan, work in Minnetonka and my fiancee lives in Brooklyn Park, send me an e-mail if you want any more info...peace.

where's it coming from? The engine? Valves maybe? Check your valve clearances. :dunno:

First thing to check would be, like he says, if your valves are out of adjustment.

I have 139k on my 90 Teg, I just had the valves adjusted on Monday. It still has a clicking noise from the top end somewhere, but the shop said everything inside was perfect. I am wondering if I have a loud injector? Is it a possibility? Sounds like it's in that area...

So is mine.

I did a valve adjustment like a week ago and it's noticeably quieter (the ticking noise). But it wasn't obnoxiously loud to begin with.

if you hear a ticking the exhaust it is most likely your valves.

however, those of you that just hear a ticking...those are the fuel injectors. they are VERY loud, but don't worry about it.
