high flow cat length between 95 ls VS GSR's
 

i was wondering if there is a difference between the length of the high flow cat between and LS integra and the GSR's. I know that their exhaust manifold are different sizes. Please help me out.

There is 00-01 GSR have the same cat length as an LS, early models have a different size.. can't remeber if its longer or shorter

o i see. i called up obx today and they mentioned that they are different in length but he does not know how long is the gsr cat. the ls cat is 16 inches and estimating that this ls cat is short by at least 2 inches from the looks of it. Im taking my chances on buying the gsr high flow cat and see what happens. But as much as possible, i dont want to get my exhaust welded on a shop. i still want the DIY bolt on. looks clean too.
Ill let you know what will happen. anyways, if any of you guys have any info on this please let me know. i got until tonight to crack this. thanks!

I'll measure my 95 GSR cat length for you tonight when I get home, its already on jack stands.

I can confirm for you that the 94-99 GSR cat is 18" long from flange to flange. I just went outside to measure my stock one for you.

thats cool i really appreciate it that you were able to measure your catalytic. Now i can breathe better. I just ordered the gsr high flow cat last night at ebay.


so the ls has 16 inches long catalytic converter while the gsr"s from years 94 to 97 have 18 inch long catalytic converters. Meaning there is 2 inch difference between the 2 catalytics. Now it makes sense. Thanks for all the response.

all i can do now is wait for the high flow cat.
