GSR doesn't start, distrubutor problem i think
My car decided not to start, we checked it for spark and there was none. I borrowed my friend's GSR dizzy, and it works just fine. I hope I don't have to pay for whole new one.
What parts inside the distrubutor can be checked and replaced?

Do you have a CEL???? I have just changed the sensers before if its a code. The coil and igniter can be changed easily.
I would take off you dizzy cap and see if you are getting sparks from your coil if you are it may just be the cap and or rotor.
If you are not you may just have a bad coil and or igniter.
If you have a volt meter with a hertz or h data function and ohms we can take a look at some things.

Thanks Fuse, with your info I was able to research how to test the coil, and thats what it was, a bad coil that measured at 9.7ohms when it should have been 12-19ohms.
There was no CEL. My friend gave me his coil from an old LS dizzy that measured 16.6ohms.
