regular unleaded gas vs premium

gas price getting kinda high over here. just wondering wat would happen if i used 87. i always used 93. would it affect anything

less mileage
more prone to detonation
overall crappy running engine

ok thanks i was just wondering. last tank of gas i got 27 mpg. 94 acura integra 251000 miles..

I wouldn't run 87 with that kind of mileage

Its not gonna blow your engine either way, even the honda manula sez its fine. it just adjusts the E/f ratio to avoid detonation. It is going to affect your power though and if you are putting 87 in a GSR, you might as well sell it nd buy an LS.
