93 GSR's came with a b17, as far as I know. Buy the relay for a 94 integra rs.

Yes... the motor is a B17A1.

That said... you should be using the OEM DC4 relay box, so a starter relay for a 94 RS will work.

thanks everyone.... but still dont have the right answer

my motor is a b18c... a neighbor told me that it came from 90-93 tegra. is that true??? the battery is putting out 12v's, its a brand new battery. i checked the starter, it was fine. so i would buy a starter relay for a 94 rs? ok... i have checked napa, advance auto parts... an nothing, they both told me that i have to go to a acura dealership for that. but im all set with getting raped threw a dealership. today 2-2-07 it started right up... its bout 32 degrees out, so thats warm.. but anything below that it will not start. it turns over, but it does not start. the check engine light comes on, but it does not start... so is it the relay switch????
thanks

attatched is more info about the starting system than you probably wanted to know. I would do some diagnostics before going out and replacing anything because most of these components are pretty pricey. If you are familier with basic electronics and the operation of a relay it shouldn't take you more than an hour or two to pin down the problem. A solonoid and realy are essentially the same thing in this case. I would start with the easy stuff first, the clutch switch and the relay. Fortunatly because of the amount of current involved the starting circuit has to be pretty simple.

info is from the 98-01 FSM but should still be applicable.

Also, since you have a CEL showing... pull the code.

Use the instructions in the Integra FAQ or get the guys at Napa or Auto Zone to pull it with their OBD-1 scanner. It may very well be related to your no-start condition.

1) You mentioned that your "Check Engine" light is on (aka CEL).

2) That means that your car's ECU has logged an error code. Reading that code will help you fix your car.

3) Thus, go to NAPA and either rent an OBD-I scanner or follow the directions in the Integra FAQ to read the code yourself.

Better?
