Default piston question

hey guys i have a couple non vtec questions. my cousin is building a b18b1 set up. he doesnt want to go vtec. my question is could he use b16 pistons with an ls head? would there be any clearance issues, and also what would the approximate c/r be....anyways thanks for the input.

I was wondering this also, what kind of gains are we looking at with this setup?

Depends on the cams. The gains will be minimal using stock cams but the higher compression will compliment a set of 404's pretty nicely.

This would be for a N/A setup right?

Yes. 11.5:1 isn't suitable for a street driven turbo application.
