Damn didn't even think about that, small socket FTW . Thanx. And the smog numbers are usually on the smog report. I know they were on mine, on all 3 I failed in fact, and they even high lighted the regions that were over... I think they're always on the smog report...

here is the deal, it took me 6 months to get my ls to smog, the cat is working fine you just had the head work done, so that eliminates a valve adjustment. do you have aftermarket or stock headers, if so, put your stock headers back on. your aftermarket headers are not heating up the cat enough to burn off all of the shit. the reasoning behind this is that the stock header are cast iron and retain the heat better than the stainless steel ones. also if you have headers that are 50 state legal that does not mean that they are 50 state smog legal. run some sea foam to clean off all the carbon on the pistons if there is any, also drive your car on the roads, to the smog shop, apposed to the freeway. the freeway will cool the cat and not cause it to burn the gases. all integras and civics don't have egr's on them, so the cat needs to get very hot. hope this helps.

I have the DC ceramic 4-1 header... I bought new plugs, the gap is at 1.1, did a tune up, dizzy cap and rotor, msd 8.5 mm wires, new fuel filter, cleaned out the air box, I ran lucas fuel system cleaner through it and I just put in the "Guaranteed to pass smog" thing, tomorrow I will change out my ctr cams with b16 cams... what else could I do?

Change the valve stem seals while your in there. Don't forget the PCV valve.

thats great that your doing all off that stuff but if your still running the hi-flow cat you're still not going to pass because your high flow cat is still going to be pushing out more carbon and crap than it should be!! i'm pretty sure you're not the only one in cali running ctr cams and itr valve springs, your cams aren't the problem! your restricted stock cat is what you need to pass and lean it out a little!!!

i'm running the same headers on my LS/Vtec and that had nothing to do with why i didn't pass the first time it was because my high flow cat wasn't getting hot enough do to it being less restricted, all i did was change it for the test and i passed with very low emissions, and i needed a tune-up!!

Well, i'll still try to change out the cams. As far as leaning it out, its already running lean, everytime I check my plugs they are white... And anyway how do you lean it out more? I also don't have the hi flow cat on yet... Its a new obd1 cat I had the shop put on, after the first one they put on failed... So this is my second cat, and it still has less than 200 miles on it. Also how do I get to the pcv valve, do I have to take the mani off? because that would be a pain

No not the entire manifold, you might have to remove your intake if it's OEM. Just reach right under the passenger side of the intake manifold. You'll see it on top of the OEM "Catch Can". Usually is partially red.
