What's a good website for brake discs and pads?
I desperately need new ones and price is important. Should I simply buy the ones at kragen or should I get the brembos? I don't race sois the extra money worth it?
|
If you need the pads now... the general purpose Raybestos pads sold at Kragen will do fine.
As far as discs go, I'd hold out for the Brembo blanks ... but you could certainly do worse than Kragen. |
I just bought brembo blanks (rear) for 50 bucks shipped.
http://www.buybrakes.com/ Make sure you use coupon code FP08010 when checking out. |
Autozone rotors will do the trick just fine.
|
www.Tirerack.com has great products and prices, including Brembo.
|
I've purchased these from www.importrp.com in the past, good prices/shipping.
|
AUTOZONE rotors are more then enough. Their pads, good enough for a quick fix.
For excellent quality items: p1auto.com or vprmotorsports.com |
I would recommend EBC Red pads. I used the greens but they just cam out with the reds and they are a little better in terms of brake dust and stopping power.
The Red and Green is just the "model number" |

What other pads have you used and please compare them. I used them for Street. I have used AEM and OEM ones, all types of OEM version too IE: Premium OEM, Super OEM etc etc etc I switched to these from a reference and I will not use anything else. |
