Default 95 GSR Sedan? Worth the investment?

I plan on getting a GSR to do a full JDM conversion and maybe even convert it to RHD.

I looked @ the GSR yesterday and I'm getting it checked out by my guy @ Tao Honda 2morrow.
Here are the stats:

1995 Integra GSR Sedan
5 speed
193k miles
1 Owner
LOADED
OEM Acura Keyless Entry
All power locks/windows/sunroof
Leather
Cruise Control
Clean Title

Only issues are: It has faded paint, it missing a CD player, and it is a sedan.

Or is it being a sedan such a problem? I'd rather go all engine than exterior and show. Of course touch up the exterior but will having a sedan really effect my performance with the GSR?

I have a coupe and personally I would love to have the sedan. I just couldn't find any in my area. The sedan only weighs something like 80 lbs. more than the coupe, which isn't a huge difference anyway. I've never really looked but from what I've heard most anything you can get performance-wise for the coupe, you can get for the sedan.

pretty sure I mentioned not for looks, only for performance. I'm asking it there is a HUGE weight gain with a 4dr, rather than a 2dr.

Thanks redteg. I'm going to get my 4dr GSR in the morning!!

WOOT!

Got it =D

I'm very happy with it, but the engine is annoying me. Already time to drop a new engine in =)

Not sure, we got it inspected and needs bout 1600+ for replacement parts n labor. I'd rather get a lower mileage GSR motor in there then boost.

Anyone know of good prices for the B18C1?

Randomly the engine sounds like the fan fell off and got into the bottom of the block. It's really weird. I'll try and record a clip next time it does it and send it to some people that think they can figure it out.

I own a 96 4 door GSR. I've actually considered selling it, but I don't know. I have thought about getting a 5spd Maxima. My car has 68K miles (yes, original miles), not a single aftermarket part or mod. It is in A++ condition and perfectly maintained. I bought it 2 years ago with 63K on it and I only drive about 2500/yr. Wonder what I could get for it?

I would look to import one from Japan if you are going to do that much work.
