Default Federal Mogul gasket?

We are about to put my b18c1 and my friend wants to use a new Federal-Mogul head gasket on it... Are these any good? Does federal mogul even make headgaskets?

Well I want to use OEM, but he said since we already have these we might as well use them... I mean what if they are thicker/thinner than OEM it will mess with my compression and I don't really trust aftermarket unless its like very well known/good brand... I guess ill just shell out another $80 and get me an OEM one

I rebuilt my 91 Mustang 5.0 with all Fel-Pro (Federal Mogul) Gaskets and had great luck with them. Ran the car around 100K and never leaked any fluids. Head gaskets were a known issue with that car. They are deffinately a reputable company.

A quick search showed no results for a honda head gasket made by fel-pro. Some have used there rod bearings. Ever since I got an integra, It has been my personal preference to stay with OEM or Better. Replacing head gaskets isn't a trouble free job. If you can afford the downtime, Just get one from Honda or Comatech even.
