Default Quick What Should I Do?!?! *tires*

(more: http://spirit.netwiz.net/~antarius/other/tyrefukd/)

So, on my way back from San Diego (just got back) I blew a tire.
(I'll post pics soon, tomorrow afternoon)

Let me give you the rundown.
I have Kuhmo's right now, probably only 5000-6000 left on the front tires and the rear tires are/were ready to go anyday...

So.
I can only afford two tires right now.
What should I do? Should I get some Toyo Proxes and put them up front, rotate my worn kuhmo's to the rear and then when those get a little closer to death put toyo's on the back as well (same size, too, of course)..

Or, should I stick with kuhmo's so I have the same tires all around?
Problem with that scenario is I'll have to keep kuhmo's until I replace all four and I want to change to toyo's anyway - plus my kuhmo's are *almost* ready to go, so I'd have some toyo's on there within 2 months...

What do you think?
I need to make a decision by tomorrow (today).

Oh yeah, one more thing.
Exactly what model Toyo Proxes should I get?
I dont want all weather, excellent dry - decent mileage (I know it wont be great) and ok wet.
That's all I care about.

Z is the speed rating and has nothing to do with the softness of the rubber compound.

As far as the actual question I'd say you have two options. You said you want to go with 215/45-17 right? Readily available online in that size you have the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position for $146 each (plus s&h) from tirerack.com or the Yokohama AVS Sport for $159 each with free shipping from discounttiredirect.com. The Bridgestones will give you a bit longer tread life than the Yokos but the Yokos have a tad more dry grip. In the rain they're dead even.

www.e-tires.com has them.

Try them or just do a search for Toyos on Google and they will give you some other sites that sell them. I was searching for them last week since they may be the next tires I buy as well.
