Anyone with JRSC'd LS?

Looking into the setup, just wondering what kind of dyno numbers you guys are putting down, and your setups. Stepper pulley? Hondata? Hondata manifold gasket? Thanks guys.

one kid i know S/C'd his GSR:

Max Power (HP): 201.8
Max Torque (Ft-Lbs): 146.7

expect only 160-70whp...not that great.

dubcac Sep 26, 2002 07:28 PM

Yeah that's at the stock 6lbs, no hondata. I've seen 10lb GSR with hondata making 270+

95TEGyoure it Sep 26, 2002 07:30 PM

i wanna find out some numbers too....

so you dont recommend it for the money, LT6916?

I recommend nitrous for the money, nothing adds more torque per hp. But I have the opportunity to pick one up cheap, so I'm trying to get some info on the modded JRSC setup.

my recommendation...superchargers are not all that great on our non-vtec motors. Sure they're great for reliability and daily driving, but if its peak horses and good torque - you wont be seeing that out of a blower. Nitrous is cheap but it isn't constant and you have to fill a bottle. Turbo is widely recognized as the replacement for displacement. Tuned turbo kits can punch your whp up to the 270s PLUS! that is the course i'm going to follow.

Nitrous is perfectly consistent if you know what you are doing.

explain this, cuz i dont think they invented the bottomless bottle yet.

i don't think you want to be spraying nitrous everytime you go WOT. if you haven't upgraded your pistons to forged pistons, you risk eating your stock ones up.
