Hi guys, as some of you know i own a 1998 GSR with an JDM conversion, sorry for posting in the Type-r forum, but i need some help since a lot of you guys have JDM conversions aswell, how did you guys use the lathc line to open your hood, the USDM 98' GSR line is about 4" short, i called Acura but they say they do not have Japanese parts, what i need is an JDM Hood Latch Line, can anyone please help or tell me how to use my US line if possible..... thanks.

 

i believe you can use one from a g2 integra

 

yeah your right, i found out today from my uncle thanks anyways...

 

I would just relocate the cable anyway. You don't want it in the stock location with that front end.

 

werd in the stock location you can just open the wheel well and pull. it's really not a good place.

 

the way i open is just by pulling on the wire with some pliers, going to order it today from dealership, its about $35, the guy tried to relocate but he didnt find any way that would actually work...
