I went to my library today and they didn't have this book. Anyone else have it and would you be willing to part with it? I did a search and no libraries within a couple hundred miles have the book. I don't want to pay full price for it either since I won't be needing it after I am done reading. Also, if anyone has the Supercharged book, that would be great too... Thanks!

 

Actually you will be needing it all the time, even after your done reading it. Its really a reference book for when your building up a engine. I would easily drop the 30 dollars for it. Try amazon.

I have the Maximum Boost (turbo) book. Bought it back when I had my turbo Supra. He did a good job of getting into the physics of everything. If you're piecing together your own kit, I'd highly recommend it. If you're buying a 'kit', I wouldn't really bother; unless you want to know what every part is and what it does (which you probably already do). I didn't find it all that useful, as my Supra was a big P.O.S. and not worth my time and $$$. But, the knowledge I've gained my someday be applied to my Teg. Then again, I'd probably learn more from the HAN turbo forum than from Corky's book.

 

Yeah, I plan on piecing together my own kit. This is because I can get better reliability as well as save a grand or so. Thanks for the info!

 

Its an awesome book if you want to know all the ins and outs of turbos. I found it very insightful.
