Default Adjusted my coilovers, but car didn't drop

I've got ground control coilovers and they've been on the car for years without any adjustment. Well, i just noticed that my passenger side rear sits 1/4" higher than the driver's side rear. So i adjusted the coilover in the rear and sat the car back down. No change. I then threaded the springs way, way down. I'm talking like 8-10 rotations and it still didn't move. Do the springs need some time to settle into the new drop? I brought it back to were it was when I started and then gave it a couple rotations down just to see if it'll move a little over the next few days. Anybody have any ideas?? I'm all paranoid about it now and might just grab up some H&R sports or something.

Thanks for the help guys

If the e-brake is on, the car can't settle down if it was let off the jack wrong.

I had no problem raising/lowering mine as long as I took the e-brake off after making adjustments.

are you sure are turning the nut and not the whole sleeve? Sometimes I have to hold onto mine to make sure the sleeze doesn't spin.
