Default Need help figureing out where this part goes.

OK so last weekend I changed the timing belt on my 99 integra LS and so now I found this part in the driveway that is a gold colored metal ring with a rim on the inside. it is about 2 3/4" in diameter and it has some black rub marks on the rim. Can anyone tell me where I need to put this back at!

thanks! DJ

That sucks its the ring that gose between the crank sprocket and the timing belt cover . My guess it kind of keeps the belt from walking into the cover . But you need to remove the cover gust slids back on .

It is all speculation at this point unless you provide pics.

There are two, one that goes on the inside of the main timing gear, and one that goes on the outside.
