I want to buy tires for the TypeR and I would like to ask, if anyone now the right tyres for the car? I will propably go With the R010 (OEM). iS IT A SMART MOVE? And what are the differences between V or W? And do you suggest 195-50-15 or 195-55-15?

There are other tire choices to consider since the OEM spec tires are so expensive. Yokohama ES100, Falken Azenis, etc.

Go with the stock size 195/55/15 or if you want to change 205/50/15 for a slightly reduced sidewall height and a wider contact patch.

just for the record.. azenis are balls in the rain, very little control and you spin out everywhere when the ground is just a little bit wet out..

I don't think they've made the 010s for YEARS. The 010s were good, but way too soft for daily use. I got ~10K out of them. Get 205-50-15, wider yet only about a 2% difference in diameter - the extra width is worth it. I highly recommend either Bridgestone RE750s or S-03s. Both are excellent tires.

BTW, what is a B18C6?

Maybe you should learn to drive, just for the record.

OP look at some kumho summer tires, good all around and fairly cheap. I run 205/50 size tires on my oem itr wheels. I run falken azenis 615s but wouldnt suggest them for just a daily driven car.

FYI b18c6 is motor found in ukdm/edm ITRs.
