4th gear at 8500

my cuzzin has a 95 integra ls vtec. he says if he brings 4th gear to 8500rpm he'll be at 140. is that true?

if he has ls transmission w/ 20" rims maybe..

rim size, tire size, and transmission all affect speed:rpm

Nope... I maxed out gears 1,2,3, and 4 and had to shift into 5th to get to 136 mph. I had a lot of room left on the tach in 5th and probably would have reached 140 mph, but it would have taken forever.

4th gear in my civic @ 7000rpm = 120mph

and im pretty sure lx civic trannies are some of the longest gears..
