Hi,

I just bought a 95 Integra LS Sedan 108k miles with automatic transmission. Overall I like it very much! Just one problem--whenever I change the shift, e.g. P<->R, R<-N->D and also when it automatically shifts during driving, the car shakes. It is quite smooth when not changing gear though.

Anybody knows what the problem is? Hope it is not something big....

To begin with, check the fluid level and quality of the fluid. It may have never been changed. Its supposed to be a red-ish color.

 

is it like a jerk or a quick thrust when changing gear? if it is, then i think the problem is the motor mount. look under the hood and check the motor mount.
