Just got my RSR exhaust, but my GSR won't turn on anymore...
4 Attachment(s)
UPS guy just delivered my new RSR ExMag exhaust today and I can't wait 'till I put it on! Also I just installed my new Greddy header on Saturday night- my first 2 upgrades after my extensive tune-up; but when I tried to turn on my car on Sunday, it wouldn't start anymore. I checked my battery's voltage and it was good. I think it may be my starter; it doesn't even crank. It has never hesitated when being started.
I have 2 questions, any and all help is truly appreciated: How can I test the starter? What else could be the cause? Attachment 59562 Attachment 59564 Attachment 59563 Attachment 59565 |

jesusublime99, given that the car failed to start immediately after you installed the header, i would check all wires and connections in the area. you could possible have knocked something loose or forgot to plug something back in.. go over everything.
starters usually don't fail from one day to the next. |

if u want to see if its the start tap the cylinode with a wrench or something metal and as your doin it have somone try to start it. If it turns your starter is shot

If you turn the key and you hear the motor turning and trying to start then the starter is fine. You guys have some crazy ways of diagnosing problems. :noes:
