Default gas leak at fuel injector...

Ok, so I unbolted my fuel rail to swap around some injectors yesterday to asess an issue i'm having with my teg. Well anyway, today I noticed the smell of gas and when I popped the hood I could see gas leaking from the injector closest to the driver's side. I checked the bolts on the fuel rail and they were all tight. It looks like it's leaking from the rubber o-ring between the injector and the fuel rail. Can I just buy this o-ring to replace it? If so, where can I find it?

well i had the same problem with my crx. and when i found out that it was the o-ring i called the local car parts store and they said the dont sell them alone. they said ur going to have to buy the whole injector to get them. so my best bet is to go to your local junkyard/pick your part and find your car or a car with the same engine and get the o-rings from there

so I replaced one of the o-rings on friday and I didn't have any leaks or anything. Well, come sunday morning, I'm leaving work so I start my car up and decide to take a look under the hood. It hadn't been running more than 30 seconds and I look and there are puddles underneath every injector on the intake manifold! I guess I should try to replace all of the o-rings but I don't feel like spending a fortune. Anyone know of any good sites for replacements that won't cost me an arm and a leg? Thanks.

You could try taking an injector out, and going into a hardware store and finding O-rings that fit..

that's probably what i'll end up doing...at like $12 a pop (per injector), these o-ring kits from the auto parts store are a small fortune. :a:
