Hey all,

I'm a super beginner with cars, so I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Well I just bought a 97 Integra used from a dealership in Burlingame, CA. It has 105,000 miles on it. I got it on Sunday, and today (Wednesday), I was driving it and the engine light came on. I'm pretty pissed about it, seeing as I just got it.

It seems to drive fine, although I think it may have issues when it's cold because when I start it up it doesn't accelerate very well and it's kind of chunky.

Does any of this sound familiar? Thanks alot for the help

My old teg (96 GSR) had a maint. required light come on. I had the dealership check it out and it was something with the ignition. The good news came when they told me that it was going to be covered under warranty. They said something about it being "granfathered in for 96 and 97 integras with less then 150k miles" or something like that. Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure thats what they said. Good luck with getting it fixed, I hope its nothing major
