I currently have dc sport 4-1 header> I am looking at putting on a magnaflow 2.25 high flow cat and muffler on the car with no resonators? Is it gona be to loud?

 

no resonators will be loud as fuck... although it should still read under californias legal dB rating. anything done to the engine or just the IHE?

As per VA state law, all exhaust modifications are illegal. It is usually not enforced, however.

That setup should be loud and have a nasty rasp.

its gonna be loud and sound like shit probably. really raspy is my bet. :yes: what kind of exhaust do you plan on getting? my setup right now is a DC Header, T1R test pipe and T1R exhaust and it sounds really nice and deep but when Vtec engages its pretty loud.

 

I have no resonator and my exhaust sound kind of raspy, would putting a resonator give it a deep nice sound? Woud it rob horsepower?? (my muffler is APEXi with 2.25" piping)

 

The car gets inspected in PA. And I have a vtec controller in it. The Vtec kicks in at 4,000 at full throttle. Other small tweaks. So it is oud already, through a BS muffler shop can on a otherwise stock exhaust. I'll let yall know how it comes out.

 

ummmm, you live out VA beach right. The cops in that area have pulled a buddy of mine over in his civic for his exhaust system (and issued tickets) each time he has gone out that area. Don't do it unless you wnat a ticket
