Racing seats on a 1991 Integra?
I need new seats for my integra. I have a question about the seat belts... will harnesses work since the seat belts are automatic... how does this work? help...

Only the part that comes over you is automatic right? If it is not connected to the seat, there should not be a problem. The manual lap belt portion should be fine too. Unless I am missing something. You could always have the stock seats re-upolstered? May be cheaper...
The lap belt buckle is attached to the seat so if you swap it out you will not have a lap belt. There may be a way to make some kind of bracket that will allow you to transfer it over, but none that I am aware of.
I put racing seats in my 90Ls here are the pics:

I still need to do a little bit of cleanup work on the welds. I also need to put spacers on the shoulder belt connection so that the belt will retract a little bit better. But you can use the original brackets with some work. I am in bakersfield if you need anymore input.

There are footprints on the seats because of my kids. The seats do not fold. so only my kids can get in the back seat. But as you can see the lap belt is still attached and the lap belt works perfectly.

Is the lap belt or the buckle attached to the seat rails or to the seat itself? I've been wondering what they're connected to since they slide with the seat.
The seat belts are attached to the brackets. you have to do some cutting on the brackets, But everything works. including sliding back & forth. I am 6'3" so I was able to make the seat slide back far enough to make me comfortable.
