Is it worth is or am i getting ripped off??
I know someone that is trying to trade me a completely rebuilt gsr tranny for my LS one and he expects $200 on top on my part... Now, i do need a gsr tranny because im dropping in a jdm b16 in my teg, but i don't know if it's worth it or not... What do you guys think??

You don't need a GSR tranny, but it would help your acceleration a lot. It doesn't sound like a bad deal, but somewhat fishy...unless he is one of those idiots that believes LS trannies are better for boost.

Not a bad deal? cool... he wants ls because he has a turbo gsr or type r engine so he wants a tranny that has longer gears... don't really know how this helps, and he knows mine shifts like butter

Try to pick it up yourself or make someother plans to avoid getting ripped
off. Take it from someone with lots of recent experience. It's only $200.00, but why lose it. Also, wouldn't a b16 tranny be more effective
for your needs? Be careful and good luck.
