Default Help - Installing rear panel

I am trying to install my rear panels in my 94 integra 2 door, the front part clips in fine but the rear trunk part wont clip in, its like the panel shrunk, how can i get them back in?

Are they the same panels that you took out?

i've noticed the same with my panels. i'm not sure how extreme yours are, but i have to pull mine while popping them into place, to get the clips to grab.

this may sound stupid but we some times over look the small things. When I took my panels out some of the clips popped of the panel a stuck to the sheet metal just make sure there aren't any still in. I put my panels back in last night just to see what you were talking about and they come out a lot easier than they go in but no big problem. Hardest part for me was getting the front doorsill area to fit in right. It help useing a decent sized flat head to push the clips with metal tip right were they needed to be. Nice gental tap with the wrist and everything fit back together like a condom.

thanks for your help everyone, i got them back in, had to pull them down pretty hard.

yeah that's definately a tricky ass panel to get to get back in...just make sure everything is lined up...make sure the seat belt isn't in the way etc ...
