E Bay Header's Any Good?
 

K guys here it is for xmass im getting my girlfriend to buy me a quality AEM or INGEN SR Intake and headers.........i was checking out ebay and they have some cheap headers, is it a bad idea to buy the cheap headers off ebay.......also when i get the headers is this an easy job to do....will they bold directly on to my stock exaust pipe?

i bought some off of ebay for my old sohc and they did the same thing as anybody elses so i would assume so.....

Forget it dude...your girl is gonna feel bad when that cheap ass header takes a shit. Hold off, and add in your birthday and valentines day for a nice DC or something to that nature. You get what you pay for. In most cases, cheap price ='s cheap quality.

^ yup, i know at least in CA "D/C" headers are the only ones that come w/ a smog legal carb number....not sure about other states. generally i'd suggest not to buy ebay....unless it's a brand from a person, when buying from ebay businesses....it's kind of known that car parts are likely to take a shit. as centerforce99 said....just stick w/ the SR intake and save the header for bday or vday

it depends where you are from. here you just go to prescott and get a p.o box for like 30 dollars and you register your car no need for all those bullshit laws or make friends that do emissions haha.

assuming whoever made it knows what they're doing...it should fit right up....but im tellin ya...make sure u work on ur car right the first time or else it will cost you...

and to answer your question...yes you can install it yourself...but it's much easier w/ a friend to help you hold it down beneath so u can line up the bolts on the head/cat
