Default LS to GSR Exhuast Compatibility

Plan to get the Greddy SP2 exhuast soon but i am also planning on getting a GSR swap on the car sometime this summer. We all know you can get the same exhuast for both applications but is there any difference between the 2? Although i dont want to wait i will if i must. Thankxx

If you do the GSR swap, you can use your LS header/cat/b-pipe and everything will be fine. If you use a GSR header, you must use the GSR cat and b-pipe.

Wouldnt these be things that should be swapped out anyway?

Not necessarily. Swaps don't come with cats, so you'd probably have to reuse all your LS exhaust components anyways...header, cat, exhaust.
