My manager at work wants to take his car completely back to stock. He will trade me his intrax springs, tokico shocks(blue w/ pink lettering, what model is that?) and his camber correction kit for my stock shocks and springs.

I figure i would just match the tokicos w/ my H&R sports and sell the intrax to someone else. Good idea, bad idea? my shocks are on their way out anyway(and this would save me some money) and my stock springs are just chillin in the garage. What does everyone think? How difficult is a camber kit to install??

He also offered me his thermal cat back and intake for my stockers.

Any opinions. thanks guys.

 

You could go for it, but what if he is thinking the same thing as you. "They're on their way out anyways." You could check them out, you never know what people do with their cars.

 

He is trading his car in because he wants to get a truck and he's tired of people fukking with his car so i guess he figures he'll get the same trade in(aftermarket or not) and just wants to help me out.

Any idea on what kind of shocks those are?

edit: I know ideally i should go pick up some yellows but right now im really poor so this is a cheap(im actually gonna profit off a mod) solution to keep my car in decent shape

 

I'm not completely sure on this but I believe the Tokico "blues" are just non-adjustable sport shocks. Unless there are different sets of blues. I think they only make whites (illuminas - adjustable) and blues. Anyway, the camber kit is a ***** to install, well it was for me anyway, but if you have a bench grinder it'll be easier. Tokico blues are terrible. they were softer than stock and lasted 30k miles before they started leaking. worst purchase i ever made!
