Default New Guy

Hey whats up everyone, I'm new to the world of Tegs, I just bought a 91, and I'm not sure what type it is yet. The tags on the back were removed and i just recently covered the holes where the symbol used to be. I've done quite a few things to it externally, but nothin under the hood until i know what type i'm working with. The owner didn't speak much english and the title doesn't say either. Was wondering if you guys had any tips to help me reveal my Tegs true identity and let me know a few things I can look for under my hood or anything else that will tell me the type of car or even the type of B series block i might have under the hood. Anyways if anyone wants pics let me know and i'll post'em.

Cool, thanks for the help, I won't be able to check the motor until tomorrow, too dark outside to look. Here are some of the pics i have of it right now, all i got is my camera phone so they're kinda fuzzy, spending all my money on the car so i can't get a digital camera yet lol. But i'll post back when i find out the number on the block.

Sorry for labeling the pic wrong, i couldn't get a decent shot of the engine because of glare, imma borrow a buddy of mines digital camera tomorrow and post a decent shot. sorry about that Hey quick question, i want to install a bigger tachometer...not that i would, but i got one for nothin, its 5" blue indigo, anyway, should i splice off of the original tach or go from the distributor? The distributor looks easier, but i'm not sure how to run it, i'd rather have it look clean and work than just well working. Any tips on that would be greatly appreciated ^_^

dont install the tach. sell it to some kid whos just tryin to look cool in his teg while revealing his true ric-e-ness. No point in having two tachs that tell you the same information, specially installing another one thats larger than your face.
