What's best place to change timing belt for 98 LS?
 
I was wondering beside acura dealership what other place can I go to change the timing belt for my gf's 98 LS? Her car just reached 90k so will need to get it done in the near future....any recommendation? the dealership is asking too much around here...

Better yet do it yourself and save tons of ridiculous labor cost....

werd. if anything, use oem parts. shop around, you can find good deals like - ebay.

I would do it myself but would prefer letting a mechanic do it...the cheapest i got quoted was $400 at both firestone and midas. Is that a good price or should I keep looking around?

yeah i just recently got mine changed on my h22 integra, paid $275 for balancer and timing belt from honda, took them a few hours. i wouldve donw it myself but u have to take the motor mount off, jack up engine (or just support) and if you have a/c and p/s, then you have to get around all that crap. just shop around for a cheap but reputable shop that can help you out, and ps, i want those si rims! lol lets make something happen!
