I really need a new trunk/hatch, and i was thinking about getting a CF one, i found a few and there kinda pricey, someone said they had to be custom made, and i know i have to get glass put in, is there any web sites that say how to take the hatch off, and if i close my hatch it wont like explode or anything will it, ive already got a CF hood so i was looking to even it out, i would appreciate the help.

 

I think ViS makes one, but their rear window is made from Lexan...which is not legal for use on the street AFAIK. You could re-fit the factory rear window, but that glass is really heavy.

If you aren't slamming the CF hatch down with a ton of force, I think the hatch would be pretty durable.
