One of my friends told me today that it is impossible to get touch up paint for a 98 ITR. I was just wondering if there is any truth to this statement. I could call my local Acura dealership but I figured it would be quicker and easier to ask you guys. Thanks

I don't think that is a true statement. Just call up the dealer and see.

 

no, it's not true. 3 months ago, I ordered touch up paint for my championship white ITR. NH-0.

The parts guy told me the same thing at first..."Oh...Type-R...we don't have that paint anymore...blah blah."

Finally, I checked back, and a different guy was there. I argued with him for a while, because he wouldn't even check the computer for it, saying that they don't have it any longer. Finally, after checking the computer for NH-0, he finds it. Long story short, I have some touch up paint.

 

yeah the dealer parts guy gives all R owners BS
they just jealous they dont have one thats all
