Default Spark Plug wire question...

Okay..

A couple years ago, I bought a set of Focuz (brand, not the car.. note the "z") 9.3 mm silicone wires off a friend.. put them on my Civic.. and one of them would keep popping out of the spark plug... hole. So... I switched back to stock never really giving it a second thought.

Think I can put them on my Teg? (LS non VTEC)

Mind you, I had an EX, which aqs you all know.. has VTEC, and the thing would pop off when I reved. (Maybe popped off when it reved to when the VTEC would engage? :dunno: ) He used these wires on his LX Civic... non VTEC... could that make the difference?

Help me out here guys, I know diddly about plug wires.

Questions, comments, snide remarks?

Won't fit.

And the reason his plug wires would pop off of yours, is probably because the vtec/nonvtec dseries wires are different too.

It's all crap anyways. Honda ignition is superb, you're better off with stock or NGK Blues.

Agree with Chanc, I tried aftermarket, but keep going back to stock or NGK blues.

Go for the NGK blues. There should be some guy on groupbuycenter.com that always has a groupbuy on NGK plug wires for real cheap. It should be less than 50 bucks for the set.

Sell them or throw them away.
