Any 12mm nut will do. I lost one of my intake manifold nuts and then used one of the strut tower nuts instead and then went to the dealer and picked up another one.

wait, so there should be a screw that sticks up for the nut to go over ?

i was looking at your car's picture but cant really tell

my gs have the holes but nothing sticks out of it, other than the rubber plug

Thanks.

Yeah, I didn't know that you had a GS. The GSR comes standard with the bar, so there are studs welded onto the chassis.

It is a bar that goes over the two strut studs? In that case, scratch what I just said. I'll try and dig up the number for you.

The place where the stock strut bar mounts is totally seperate from the upper shock mount. It's just two holes in the sheet metal with bolts welded in.

A GSR strut bar will not fit on a GS unless you weld those studs in. You have to get the strut bar that attaches to the two studs above the shock instead.

thats far from true, sorry.

all you need are some bolts and nuts and it will bolt right in.

trust me, i did it with mine.

go the hardware store, pick out and nuts/bolts that will fit in the holes (where the rubber plugs are) and you're in business.
