exhaust problems
My integra has been making a very loud noise lately, because the exhaust pipe has come loose from its connection. I was just wondering if anybody had any good ideas about what I could do to get that taken care of.
the best advice i could give you is to take it to an exhaust shop and have them re-bolt the exhaust together (or welded if that's how it was fabricated). If it sounds louder than usual, it probably means the "cat-back" portion of the exhaust has come loose from the rest. it should just be a few bolts, but i'm still somewhat new to integras and i'm coming from a Mustang background...

my muffler rusted right off the car
h: Stick your head under the car and take a look around... if its something obvious and easy (i.e. bolts loosening), fix it yourself, if its something less friendly (i.e. rusting to pieces), take it to an exhaust shop OR just buy a new exhaust and install it.

oh yeah...forgot about that...mufflers do tend to rust and make holes. my buddy's 91 GS had a hole about the size of a basball and it sounded like a lawnmower. just peek your head underneath the back of the car and the problem should present itself if it's there...
