Default gsr engine/ls tranny

I am thinking of swapping a c1 into my rs and was wondering if anyone is running one with an ls tranny? How is the acceleration with the wider gears? Is it close enough to just save the money and not get the gsr tranny too?

i believe you will not be able to rev up to the gsr redline which is i think 8000rpm.

I have a LS tranny on my B18c1. The tranny doesnt affect what your redline is, so youlle still be able to rev up 8200, but your gear ratios will be really long

The trans has absolutely no impact on the redline of the engine.

The "LS" trans is simply not geared short enough to keep the B18C series of engines in the high revs, where they make the most power, so they'll feel a bit more sluggish.
