its really not that hard, im sure you can do it. Do you have some tools at least?
|
all you really need is a flat head, philips and i think its a 10" socket and ratchet.....Your going to have to take your resanator out too. Its really easy stuff but Welcome to HAN

Yeah, it's really easy to do. The above tools are all you need, plus a jack and jack stands. Most instructions will tell you to remove the front bumper, but that really isn't necessary. Just remove the front passenger-side wheel and take off the inner-fender liner, and that should give you all the space you need.
The AEM CAI was the first mod I ever did to any car, and it took me about 2.5-3 hours. I helped a buddy install it on his car a year later and it only took 1.5 hours with the experience of the first time under my belt. |
I need to get myself one of them.. I found an Injen one for 72 bucks.
Looking through that tutorial reminded myself how sexy the front end of a 3rd gen teg looks. Both bumper on and off. It looks aggressive. I always smile to myself when I see mine. :irock: :bandito: |
i just picked up a CAI im gonna install it 2morrow in im not too hungover before i got to work at noon...ill letcha kno how big or small a pain in the ass it is
