Default 93 Integra Performance Upgrades

Help? I need everyones input on what the best low cost performance upgrades will be for my 93 GS 5spd Coupe. I am looking to get HP increases without destroying my fuel milage. Right now my engine is still bone stock and has a good bit of miles on it, but runs great. I just want to increase my 0-60mph speeds a bit and do it on a low cost budget.
Any input is appreciated.

The ultimate bang-for-your-buck upgrade will be a 55-shot Zex dry nitrous system.
Assuming your motor is in good condition, that's my recommendation.

You will need to upgrade your clutch and swap in colder spark plugs. A short-ram intake, exhaust header and cat-back exhaust will complement the nitrous oxide system nicely.

For about $1100 in parts, you'll make roughly 150 hp at the crank with the nitrous off, and about 200 to 205 at the crank with the nitrous system activated.

Brett aka Master Yodub, is one of our resident authorites on nitrous oxide systems.

Run a few searches with the keywords: ZEX, Nitrous, B18A, Bolt Ons. The search results will give you insight into what gains you can expect from various mods.

And before anyone brings up the Tornado or SpiralMax...stop. :a:
They are pieces of shit that do nothing to increase power.

And as a rule, if you're making more power, you're obviously burning more gas. So don't expect to get 35mpg if you're constantly using the nitrous oxide.

Lastly, welcome to HAN.

I'd go with the basic bolt-ons...i mean if you say you don't care and are on a tight budget you might want to search on ebay(not that i am recommending ebay special parts). You get what you pay for...just remember that.

Default Whats the opinion of the bolt on mods for Tegs on Ebay?

I'm currently watching a chrome 4-2-1 header set and a two-pipe alum. cold air intake breather kit.
Both seem very underpriced, but they are neither one name brands I know.
Will they give me gains, or are they just low quality copies of the major mfg's?

They are cheaply priced, because they are cheaply made.
You're dealing with an "eBay special"... I'd buy a used name-brand intake before I bought a new eBay facsimile.
